Sindh eyes Rs40bn in gas, oil royalties
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that Sindh may receive Rs 30 to 40 billion in the head of gas and oil royalty and provincial government is active in this regard. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Petroleum Institute constructed in Government College of Technology Khairpur with the total worth of Rs102 million, CM said that young generation would have to come forward for technical education. $7.5 billion US package will be grant aid: Qureshi briefs newsmen
Q Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, briefing journalists about recent strategic dialogue in US, at State Guest House here on Sunday stated that $7.5 billion economic assistance package arrived at in US, to be given to Pakistan in five-year period, would be a grant. India sees Pak nukes as secure
Amid global fears that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal may fall into the hands of terrorists, Indian Army Chief Gen V K Singh says concern remains over this aspect but he feels these weapons are secure. “Probably Pakistan also has such concerns and they are taking extra measures. High-level Taliban interested in talks: Holbrooke
High-level Taliban leaders are showing interest in talks with the US-backed government in Kabul in increasing numbers, as pressure mounts from an intensifying NATO military campaign, a special US envoy said Sunday. Four gas fields hydrocarbon resources: OGDC decides to sell to Sindh

The Board of Directors (BoD) of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) has decided to offer hydrocarbon resources sale, at four wellhead condensate gas fields, to Sindh province, Business Recorder has learnt. IP gas pipeline feasibility study: ILF Germany awarded Contract
